This model includes two (2) built-in cooling fan system for optimal protection. The recessed fan cooling system is built to continually filter hot air out of the unit pulling fresh cool air in and creating an air pocket between the screen of the TV or display and the clear front panel of the unit. The fan power cord has a built-in thermostatic control which turns the fan on at 31,1 C degrees and off at 25,6 C degrees to ensure that your enclosure stays at the proper temperature.
For best viewing results, place the display an inch or less from the anti-glare front shield. Please note that anti-glare front shields will significantly reduce the appearance of sun glare on the screen, however, anti-glare coating by nature does have a matte finish that may slightly cause the clarity of the image to not quite be as high as the image on the actual TV screen.
Please note this enclosure can be installed flush the wall. However, depending on your application, an external TV Wall Mount might be required. If so, we suggest you to check our Heavy-Duty TV wall Mount Line (up to 300 lbs of loading capacity). If you already have a TV wall mount, especially for the TV Shield Pro, make sure it can hold the weight of your TV, The TV Shield Pro itself and any other equipments that you might installed into it (media player, etc.).
This protective TV case is not designed to be water-submerged.
Thermostatic fans that click on at 31.1 Celcius degrees and off at 25.6 Celcius degrees are included.
Thermostatic PRO heater for the winter season or cold environment is also available (turns on on at 4.44 Celcius degrees and off at 15.55 Celcius degrees.
Graffiti like spray paint can be washed off of the screen with special removal spray, and dry-erase markers are usable on the front panel.
